Communio Disciples

Our Mission
To encounter, imitate and share Jesus Christ, live as faithful members of his Catholic Church and invite others to do the same.

Our Name
The word “communio” finds its roots in the book of Acts, describing how the early Christians were of one heart and soul and shared everything in common (Acts 4:32).  Following this model, we seek to support one another and share spiritual goods as we grow in our relationship with Christ and proclaim his Gospel to those around us.

Our Patron
St. Raphael is one of the three Archangels named in Scripture and plays a prominent role in the Old Testament book of Tobit.  His name in Hebrew means “God heals” or “Remedy of God” and his angelic mission on earth is to heal and foster reconciliation.  We seek the intercession of St. Raphael as we share God’s message of hope and healing found in Christ.

Our Work

By word and example, we echo Jesus’ invitation in the Gospels: “Come, Follow Me.”  All parishioners who desire to widen our efforts to make Jesus known and loved are welcome to join us.  For more information, contact Laurie at 856-767-0547 or Laurie.Power@christtheredeemer.us.
